Pablo Heras-Casado debut at Teatro alla Scala with Don Giovanni

On March 27, Pablo Heras-Casado will conduct for the first time in his career at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, with Mozart’s Don Giovanni. After two concerts that were initially scheduled for early 2020 conducting the Filarmónica della Scala and canceled due to covid, Heras-Casado makes his debut at the Milanese venue and marks a milestone in his career at one of the most important historic theaters in the world. Robert Carsen’s production of Don Giovanni, from March 27 to April 12, will feature the cast of Christopher Maltman, Hanna-Elisabeth Müller as Donna Anna, Bernard Richter as Don Ottavio, Alex Esposito as Leporello, Emily D’Angelo as Elvira, Andrea Carroll as Zerlina, Fabio Capitanucci as Masetto, Günther Groissböck and Jongmin Park, both as Commendatore.
