Romance and rhythm with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra

This month, Pablo Heras-Casado returns to Israel for eight concerts with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, featuring guest soloists and rotating programmes at the nation’s premiere concert venues. In her debut appearance with the IPO, pianist Olga Scheps performs Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 on November 182021 & 25 (Tel Aviv’s Charles R. Bronfman Auditorium); November 19 & 22 (Haifa’s Rappaport Hall) and November 26 (Jerusalem’s International Convention Center). These concerts also include Navok’s Light Paths, originally commissioned by the IPO, and Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. Pablo looks forward to celebrating his 40th birthday in Tel Aviv on November 21 in performance with these talented artists; watch that performance online via IPO Live at the following link.

On November 23, singer and presenter Yasmin Levy joins Heras-Casado and the IPO for a “Philharmonic in Jeans” concert featuring Spanish-themed works. The orchestra performs Ravel’s Alborada del gracioso and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Capriccio espagnol, on an evening that also features Ms. Levy singing selections by Yaron Gottfried.
