Russian Masterworks with the Philharmonia Orchestra in Granada

Following his appointment earlier this year as the new director of the Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada, Pablo Heras-Casado returns to Granada to lead the Philharmonia Orchestra on July 11 at the Palacio de Carlos V. The programme includes three selections by renowned Russian composers: Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, Op. 96; Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 35 with soloist Esther Yoo; and Stravinsky’s The Firebird (complete ballet). The concert is now sold-out, with ticket returns and other updates available at EntradasGranadaFestival.org.

Details on Mr. Heras-Casado’s directorship of the Festival can be found at the following link.
