Upcoming performances in Salzburg and Madrid

Pablo Heras-Casado leads the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg in concert on January 29 featuring three Symphonies by Haydn at the annual Mozartwoche (“Mozart Week”). Mr. Heras-Casado has been a regular guest at the Mozartwoche since his first appearance, with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerische Rundfunks, in 2012. Last year he made his debut with the Vienna Philharmonic at the festival, substituting for the late Nikolaus Harnoncourt.

The performance takes place at the Großer Saal Mozarteum, and includes Haydn’s Symphony No. 94 in G Major (“Surprise”), Symphony No. 96 in D Major (“Miracle”), and Symphony No. 100 in G Major (“Military”). Purchase tickets for the concert via Mozarteum.at.

On February 2 & 3, Pablo Heras-Casado and the Orquesta Sinfónica y Coro RTVE present a programme featuring Schumann’s Adventlied, Op. 71 and Neujahrslied, Op. 144, along with Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 in E minor, Op. 98 at  Madrid’s Teatro Monumental.
