Pabo Heras-Casado gives his first subscription series concerts with the Orquesta Nacional de España on October 26, 27, and 28 at the Auditorio Nacional de Música. Pablo’s program with the Orchestra spans several musical generations, with Webern’s Passacaglia, opus 1 and Schoenberg’s transcription of Brahms’s Quartet No. 1 in G Major on the program. Celebrated French cellist Anne Gastinel joins the ensemble for Haydn’s Concerto No. 1 for Cello and Orchestra.
