Mezzo TV: Featured Artist for March

For the month of March, Pablo Heras-Casado is the Featured Artist on Mezzo TV. With a community of 28 million subscribers, the channel will broadcast two classical concerts, a documentary, and the recording of Alex Ollé’s critically acclaimed production of The Flying Dutchman at Teatro Real de Madrid in 2016, all featuring Heras-Casado at the helm.

In addition to the broadcast of The Flying Dutchman, the other programs will include Pablo conducting Les Siècles at the Festival de Granada last year; three Schumann concertos with Isabelle Faust, Alexander Melnikov and Jean-Guihen Queyras with the Freiburger Barockorchester at the Philharmonie Berlin in 2014; and Stéphane Vérité’s documentary “An artist, Pablo Heras-Casado | A town, Granada,” where Pablo hosts a visit to his hometown. The live-recorded performance at the Philharmonie Berlin, and the filmed recording of The Flying Dutchman at the Teatro Real de Madrid, were released for purchase by harmonia mundi. More information for both are available via Pablo’s Recordings.
