Following an acclaimed run of Die Zauberflöte at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Pablo Heras-Casado returns to the United States to conduct the Caramoor Festival’s finale concert with guest cellist Alisa Weilerstein. The Orchestra of St. Luke’s Principal Conductor appears at the Festival’s Venetian theater against the backdrop of the festival’s idyllic setting, leading a program that includes Wagner’s Prélude to Act III of Lohengrin, Dvorak’s Eighth Symphony, and Elgar’s Cello Concerto in e with Alisa Weilerstein.
