Opens the year conducting Bruckner Symphony No. 6 in A major at the Auditorio Nacional de Música with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid. Conducts the Orchestre de Paris at the Musee d’Orsay with soprano Sabine Devieilhe. Conducts Monteverdi at the Abbey of Melk during the International Baroque Festival. VII Gran concierto de Acordes con Solidaridad at the Teatro Real with Marina Heredia. Opened the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival conducting the NDR Elbphilarmonie Orchester. Participates in the centenary of the Salzburg Festival conducting the Klangforum Wien, in the cycle ‘Ouverture Spirituelle – Pax’ together with Jordi Savall. Revival of L’incoronazione di Poppea at the Wiener Staatsoper. Opens the Bolzano Festival Bozen 2021. Conducts at the 50th anniversary of Heinz Hall, home of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
