Royal Concertgebouw Debut

On November 21, Pablo Heras-Casado will celebrate his 35th birthday by making his debut with Amsterdam’s Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, which is celebrating its 125th birthday this season. For his first concerts with the esteemed ensemble, Pablo conducts Ravel’s Le tombeau de Couperin as well as Mendelssohn’s Fourth Symphony, “Italian.” The English pianist Paul Lewis, who also makes his RCO debut with these performances, joins Pablo for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 in A.  

Pablo’s RCO performances take place November 21 at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam and November 22 at the Theater Heerlen.
