Ravel, Debussy, and Berlioz with Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra

Following his October performance of Mahler’s “Resurrection” Symphony with the ensemble, Pablo Heras-Casado returns to St. Petersburg to lead the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra for an all-French program on December 19. The Spanish conductor opens his concert with Debussy’s La mer before turning to the second suite from Ravel’s fantastical ballet Daphnis et Chloé. Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique – an orchestral tour-de-force – closes the evening.

The December 19 concert will be streamed live online beginning at 7pm (MSK) and will be available for 72 hours thereafter.
