Philharmonia Orchestra debut March

This Sunday, March 9, Pablo Heras-Casado debuts with London’s Philharmonia Orchestra. The Spanish conductor begins his performance at Royal Festival Hall leading two works by Beethoven: the Egmont? Overture and the magnificent Fifth Piano Concerto, “Emperor,” with pianist Nikolai Lugansky. To close his inaugural concert with the British ensemble, Pablo conducts his signature account of Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3, “Scottish.”
