NY PHil debut

Spanish conductor Pablo Heras-Casado will make his debut with the New York Philharmonic next season, the orchestra recently announced. Pablo will lead the esteemed American orchestra from April 2 to 5, 2014 in Britten’s Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10. Pablo’s inaugural program with the New York Philharmonic will also include Bartók’s Third Piano Concerto with Peter Serkin. 

Pablo – recently named one of the “100 Most Powerful New Yorkers” by Gotham Magazine – will make his Carnegie Hall main stage debut on February 7, 2013 with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, where he has served as Principal Conductor since December 2011.
