This January, Pablo Heras-Casado leads the world premiere performances of Yves Chauris’ Un minimum de monde visible with the Ensemble Intercontemporain in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Pablo’s concerts with the Ensemble Intercontemporain include Dallapiccola’s Piccola musica notturna, Maderna’s Serenata No. 2, Schoenberg’s Lied der Waldtaube, and Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen, with featured soloist Susan Graham.

The first of three performances takes place in Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw on January 11, before Pablo heads to the Ensemble’s home in Paris for a concert on January 14. Pablo and the Ensemble Intercontemporain’s appearances together conclude January 16 in Antwerp at De Singel’s Blauwe Zaal. On February 22, the Spanish conductor reprises Chauris’ work with with the French ensemble at the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux.
