Pablo Heras-Casado leads the New York Philharmonic in works by Bartók, Bruch & Dvořák this week at David Geffen Hall

Pablo Heras-Casado returns to conduct the New York Philharmonic in a four-concert series, October 27, 28 & 29 and November 1. Previous collaborations with the NYPhil have proven a triumph for Heras-Casado, garnering enthusiastic praise from audiences and critics:

NYPhil concertmaster Frank Huang is the featured soloist on Bruch’s passionate and thrilling Violin Concerto No. 1 for the upcoming concert series, on a programme that also includes Bartók’s Dance Suite and Dvořák’s masterful Symphony No. 7. The Dvořák is a signature piece for Mr. Heras-Casado, which he recently conducted with the San Francisco Symphony:
