Leticia Moreno and Pablo Heras-Casado, at the Teatro Monumental

On April 15 and 16, maestro Pablo Heras-Casado returns to Madrid’s Teatro Monumental to conduct the Orquesta Sinfónica RTVE in a program featuring Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, with Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno as soloist; and Beethoven’s Fourth Symphony. On this occasion, the conductor will offer a unique program with two major scores of Romanticism, the Violin Concerto in E minor Op. 64, the last orchestral work of the renowned composer Felix Mendelssohn, and the Symphony No. 4 in B flat major, op. 60, by Ludwig van Beethoven, in commemoration of the celebrations of the genius of Bonn.

The second concert will be broadcast on Radio Clásica on April 16 at 8:00 p.m. and later on Saturday, April 24, on Los conciertos de La 2.

Last October, Heras-Casado opened the 2020/2021 season of the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía at the Teatro Monumental.
