Pablo Heras-Casado appointed Honorary Member for Wagnerian Association of Madrid

Pablo Heras-Casado has been appointed Honorary Member for the Wagnerian Association of Madrid, for his dedication and commitment to the music of Richard Wagner. So he joins the group along with other outstanding members such as Eva Wagner, René Pape, Plácido Domingo, or Anja Kampe, among others.

The members of the Wagnerian Association of Madrid (1911), with the aim of sharing the enthusiasm and interest in the work of Richard Wagner, maintaining contact with other Wagnerian association both in Spain and abroad, highlighted during their General Assembly the work by Heras-Casado:

 “Maestro Pablo Heras-Casado shared unforgettable moments with us in February 2020, on the production of Die Walküre (The Valkyrie) at the Teatro Real. He gave us words of gratitude for being part of our Association”. Pablo Heras-Casado has conducted several Wagner’s masterpieces such as Flying Dutchman (2016) and the first half of the Tetralogy Der Ring des Nibelungen, Das Rheingold (2019) and Die Walküre (2020). In early 2021 he will return to the Teatro Real to conduct Siegfried,  in Robert Carsen’s production.
