Covid crisis postpones the debut of Pablo Heras-Casado at La Scala

Teatro alla Scala has cancelled many productions of the current Season. The two concerts by Pablo Heras-Casado conducting the Filarmonica della Scala, scheduled for October 25, has just been canceled, as well as all the activities planned for this weekend in the Milanese coliseum. The management of the Teatro alla Scala is suspending its activities for the moment after musicians from the orchestra and choir had tested positive for coronavirus. Three cases have been detected in the orchestra, while the number of infections in the choir has increased to nine. Heras-Casado’s debut at La Scala suffered a second setback after another concert was canceled on March 16th, also due to the pandemic.
