Conducts the Orquesta Joven de Andalucía (OJA) to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Barenboim-Said Foundation and the 25th anniversary of the OJA, both projects attached to the Ministry of Culture of Andalusia; conducts Schubert & Bruckner with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid; conducts “XVIII Concert Tribute to the victims of terrorism” with the RTVE Symphony Orchestra and Choir featuring soprano Camilla Tilling and mezzo-soprano Christianne Stotijn as soloists. After several concert cancellations due to the COVID-19 on June 23 Pablo Heras-Casado conducts the broadcast of Beethoven’s Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Piano in C major, Op. 56. He joins as a regular host on the program Sinfonía de la mañana of Radio Clásica. Conducts for the 6th edition of the concert Acordes con Solidaridad at the Teatro Real. Celebration of 25 years on the podium (1995-2020). Receives three Record Geijutsu awards in the categories of the best symphony, orchestra, and concert for three of his recordings, in collaboration with harmonia mundi. Closes the Beethoven year at the head of the NHK Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo.
