Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro in Berlin

Pablo Heras-Casado travels to Berlin this April, to conduct six performances of Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro at the Staatsoper Berlin. The production, originally staged by the Staatsoper’s Artistic Director Jürgen Flimm, features Ildebrando D’Arcangelo as Count Almaviva, Dorothea Röschmann as the Countess Almaviva, Anna Prohaska sings Susanna, Lauri Vasar stars in the title role, Marianne Crebassa is Cherubino, and Katharina Kammerloher sings Marcellina, with the acclaimed Staatskapelle Berlin and Staatsopernchor also bringing Mozart’s masterful score to life.

The performances take place April 22, 25, 28 & 30 and May 2 & 4 at the historic Schiller Theater. Enjoy a video preview of the production here:
